Whale Watching Tour
Whale Watching in Costa Rica
The best option is to view most of Drake Bay. You will search for humpback & pilot whales and three different species of dolphins. Listen to humpback whales sing to one another and watch as a mammal that weighs more than 40 tons leaps out of the water.
The best chance you must spot whales around is when the population of Humpback Whales from South America visit us from July through late October or from January-March with the mission to breed their calves. Whale sightings are very often at this time of year but we do not guarantee that you will see them on the tour since they are part of our free wildlife.
