Arriving at Laguna Surf Lodge

Laguna Surf Lodge by SCP Hotels is located 16 miles from John Wayne Airport/Orange County (SNA) or about 20 minutes.

Valet parking is available for $38 per night. Metered self-parking is available throughout all of Laguna Beach if you would prefer to not valet park your car with us.

Your Stay

Check-in is from 4:00 pm through 12:00 am.  If you plan to arrive after midnight, please contact our front desk to make arrangements at (949) 494-1196.

Early check-in is available for an extra fee and is based upon availability.

Yes, guests must be at least 21 years old to check in.

Check-out time is at 11:00 am.

Yes, we are a pet-friendly hotel in Laguna Beach! Dogs are welcome, and we provide special amenities for your four-legged friend! Please note that we charge a $45 one-time fee, per dog, with a 2-dog limit per guest room.

Yes, all SCP Hotels are non-smoking including guest rooms, public spaces and hotel grounds. There are no designated areas for smoking on property.

Guest Rooms

We offer 41 uniquely designed rooms, including suites and traditional and peaceful rooms. Each room provides a distinct and comfortable stay at our oceanfront Laguna Beach hotel.

Our hotel was built in 1948 in the unique cliff-side landscape of Laguna Beach making each of our rooms different and unique.  We know there are a lot of room types to chose from so please contact our team if you have specific questions when booking.

Our Peaceful Rooms are specifically designed to remove digital distractions and provide guests with additional wellness amenities so you can focus on what's most important - sleep!  Peaceful Rooms have added amenities to ensure you sleep well during your stay at Laguna Surf Lodge.

All of our new Peaceful Rooms and Suites include:

  • Avocado Green Mattresses
  • Further Bath Products (hand soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion).
  • In-room safe
  • Handheld steamer
  • Hair dryer
  • Mini refrigerator
  • Sound machine, essential oil diffuser and pillow spray
  • Yoga mat and meditation pillow

Food and Drink

At Laguna Surf Lodge, we invite you to our new lobby space for your morning coffee or tea.

The lobby is fully stocked with locally sourced coffee as well as a selection of teas to enjoy during your stay.

 

Currently, Laguna Surf Lodge does not feature an onsite dining facility. However, our prime location ensures that guests have an abundance of dining options just steps away from the hotel.

Sustainability

We have eliminated single-use plastics for bath amenities and water bottles. We have two filtered water refill stations for guests.

We installed high-efficiency fixtures in our rooms and suites, including reduced flow shower heads and planet-friendly Further bath products.  Each guest room has glassware you can use at our water refill stations - stay hydrated!

Flexible Reservations
One night room and tax charged three (3) days before arrival to the credit card on file—no penalty for cancellation before the deposit. Within three days before arrival, the deposit is non-refundable. The Guest Amenity Fee is not included and is charged upon arrival.

All Advance Purchase Reservations
Advance Purchase Reservations are prepaid and non-refundable at the time of booking. Full payment is charged when booking to the credit card on file. In exchange for promotional savings, these reservations are non-refundable, non-cancelable, non-changeable, and non-transferable. The Guest Amenity Fee is not included and is charged upon arrival.
